Loss of Oscillation

 

A sign that typically has oscillation (rapid back and forth movement) doesn't exhibit any oscillation during production.

The signer says “Meningitis … thirteen-month old baby”. 

 

In its citation form, THIRTEEN is expected to move back and forth (by flexing the knuckle joints) rapidly. In this production, the user only flexes it once.
